Very few can cultivate karisalaanganni in  seperate feilds.Mostly, people can get it in the boundaries of paddy feilds.When you use karisaalai [ karisalaanganni  is Karisaalai] as a tooth powder or as leaves for mouthwash the teeth and gums becomes light green; Nothing wrong and it helps to remove bacterias.
 
Fresh leaves  can be taken in empty stomach for getting good results.In the beginning  you may have vomitting sense  and head ache which are good simptoms.This habit will help you to get rid of migraine and  jaundice.You can take  five leaves a day in the beginning and you can increase up to ten one by one.As we are  manufacturers of  sidda medicines with Vallalar Herbs we used to steam the herb .We use  cow's milk instead of water for getting steam to remove toxins  in karisaalai. as idlies  in Tamil Nadu.Also it can be cooked as other greens.
 
In the early morning take five fresh leaves by grinding  with your teeth and drink it's juice. Grind another five  leaves and apply the same inside the throat for one minute continuosly;lot of saliva and bile fluids will be  poured out ; wash your mouth with hot  water ; again apply the paste inside the throat for an  another minute.People who are having blood presure and brain hemorrhage should not do this.This habit will reduce the intake of food  and increases oxygen level in the blood.Karisaalai  works with iron in the blood and increases haemoglobin.

Only Becuase of having karisalai in daily basis as per vallalar advice.
