Note : The Thiruarutpa is a collection of songs composed by Saint Vallalar. Having taken a Divine birth as recent as the 19th century, Saint Vallalar, experienced and realized God. He saw God as Light ( Oli ). He worshipped God in the form of Light and eventually became the Light. He documented his experience and realization in the form of songs. These songs were later compiled and published as the Thiruarutpa.
