Dear friends,
Here is the english version of Kundalini siddhas view. It is for people who dont know Tamil. People who already read the tamil version, can benefit from it because I am remaking it instead of dubbing it:-).
I intend to send it a series of articles and here is the introduction part.
Prayers,
Dhanapal

Topic : OHM

Introduction:

We, human beings, inherently have the desire to know the following things.

  1. What is soul? And where it is?
  2. What is mind? Where does the mind originate?
  3. What is aathma? Where it is?
  4. Who is God? Where to find him?

Pretty tough questions, huh? I too had those questions above and decided to do a bit of my own research into Tamil siddhas poems. There were 18 siddhas lived in the southern India who wrote their experiences and findings in Tamil for the above questions. I found that, whatever practices exist in the world either it is kundali yoga or pranayama; they are based on yoga marga only.

But it seems that, our ancient siddhas secretly withheld kundali and pranayama practices which are based on gnana marga (wisdom path). The poems they wrote were always interpreted based on yoga path which actually intended to be wisdom path. Because, these practices were always kept as divine secret and still it is. By God's grace, I got the opportunity to take them. But I found that, it is just available only in some parts of Tamilnadu. Hence I decided to write about it so that many eligible people would take it.

My answer to that would be: I am going to tell the truth in plain simple words. No more abstractions. We had enough. My answers will hit the bulls-eye.I hear you say "you are crazy!" Okay, here is one sample.

What does OM mean?

In Tamil, OM is denoted like this.

Answer: It denotes the head.

Have you ever heard anything simpler than this before for this question? My answers to the first three questions will be exactly to the point. No more abstractions.

OM means the HEAD. Don't believe me? Scroll down and see the following picture.

Just remove the lord Muruga from the picture above. Don't you see OM denotes the head? Muruga hides so intelligently, we normally don't see it. It's not just about the head. I am going to explain a lot about OM in the following. So, hold on.

Now is another question. What does Siva lingam mean? We say it denotes the male sexual organ. That is not true. The aim of all spirituality is to free ourselves from the birth-death-rebirth cycles. The reproductive organs create these cycles. Siva linga denotes the divine light or "Deepa". We usually say the God as the divine light. We say "May the divine light guide you". It denotes the divine light. Fire always goes upwards (water always goes downwards).

See the picture above. Can you see the deepa? If you don't see, then see the following picture and compare.

The head contains all the five senses and the mind. All these six senses meet at one central point. That is what called the Mooladhar. It is also the place, where the base fire or Moola Agni present.

Nevertheless, the Siva linga too denotes another organ in our body. The Siva linga has to be viewed in a different orthographic projection. It's so amazing that it resembles the male sexual organ so closely; we missed to see the big one.

Prayers,
Dhanapal
