I have many Questions regarding the PURUVA MADDHI & NERTI MADDHI related discussion that is going on.
Till now I was thinking that puruva maddhi is some point between two eye brows. But the new chain of discussions seems to change the topic entirely.
As the initial description with pictures mentioned if the centre points on each eye brows (marked as idakalai and pingalai in the drawn picture), then defintely Vallalar Aiyya would have mentioned it like "PURUVA MADDHIGAL"...But there is no where in any scriptures the plurality seems to have been mentioned. Everywhere it is termed as PURUVA MADDHI only. Our Aiyya is one of the extra-ordinary Tamil Expert he wont miss singlular or plural... :)
Kindly clarify us.
