Among all listening is a non stop one.It continously works in the live world.Reading is only studying others experiences.For example if you read Arutpa it is only Vallal peruman 's experience not ur experience.By accepting him as a guru we are downloading his experiences in our life.Slowly we start to realise everything.

If you read Ramanayana,Mahabharata or vedas you are only downloading the their experience.If you are able find difference between these two really you are lucky one and ur in correct path.
