True Consciousness or Unmai arivu is nothing but Pathi Arivu according to Saivasidhantha doctrine.
There are two types of consciousness.
1.Pathi Arivu
2.Aanma arivu.
Aanma has to realise itself then only it will get Pathi Arivu.
aanma thannai arindha piragudhan pathiyai ariyum--According to Sidhiyar.
To get this we have to follow Sariyai, Kiriyai, Yogam and finally gnanam.
