Please go thro the attachment i have sent some time back on works of
sri aladi samy attained samadhi in 1874. As one mr.harimanikandan has
posted, in that particular period, suttukkol mayandi samy, ramalinga
vilasam, vellaiya samy , kulandaiyananda sami, rettiapatti samigal,
ettayapuram samigal were all have attained a stage and were in service
to human kind. i am not trying to compare. They never respected
performing miracles, they were always engaged in activities to help
the humans.

In the ancient history, Lada sanyasi, prevailing in lot of family
deities temple, a changed form of virada sanyasis of north, visit
southern villages and settle in any one of them. they adopt the
particular place, engage in emancipation of people around till their
end. Even now there are so many places where these sanyasis settled
and attained nirvigalpa jeeva samadhi and the places are highly
vibrant and help lot of people come out of physical , psychological
and other problems.

Our samy has written there will be one in thousand or lakh who have
attained this stage but they will not let others know. all these
years they have been in search of proper sisyas and help them to swim
across the rivers of birth.

i have been fortunate enough in service at two of ancestral jeeva
samadhis and believe that i have crossed certain hurdles in my
spiritual with the blessings of my guru, though the path is too long
for me to cross.

Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar himself is known as a violent
politician normally and focussed by politicians for material benefits.
But the stage he has attained with an initiation of chaithanya sami
of ramanathapuram is incredible. He had delivered excellent lectures
on our vallalar, sakthi, murugan and thiruvalluvar.the writings are so
expressive and has the substance too. it can be read and understood by
a common person though it has the core philosophical substance in it.
the article on sankara is one of the best part of it. he had
acquintances with Sivananda, vallanattu sami, Sithuraja sami.

Probably SITHAR ILAKKIYAM three volume book by M.P.Somu can give a
better light on people who are really behind. I was surprised to learn
there were so many popular celebreties who have attained a stage in
spiritual path and not known to the world properly. they were never
tried to express that too.

Maraimalai adigal one of the ardent follower of Vallalar has expressed
lot of things including vegetarianism and the diet to be followed.

my suggestion is to learn from the followers too.
any suggestion or opinion i would be much glad to respond.
