VaLLalaar's vidhi 15 is again based on compassion and love of all living beings.

It is better to take care of lives existing and needy than rituals of abstract ideas.

திருமந்திரம்:      படமாடக் கோவில் தேவர்க்கு ஒன்று ஈயல்

                                நடமாடக் கோவில் நம்பர்க்கு ஆங்கு ஆகாதே

 

                                நடமாடக் கோவில் நம்பர்க்கு ஒன்னு ஈயின்

                                படமாடக் கோவில் பகவர்க்கு அது ஆமே

 

                      நாம் 'சமர்ப்பணம்' செய்யும்படி தூண்டப்படுகிறோம்

                      அதனை 'சுவாகா' செய்பவர்கள் யார் என்பதை எண்ணிச் செயல்பட வேண்டும்.

Wonderful document!! Thanks so much for sending.   Can you please throw more light on the 15th point on observing tithi for departed souls? 15. GIVE UP RITUALS LIKE OBSEQUIES (aftr-deah ceremonies) AND ANNIVARSARIES; INSTEAD FEED THE NEEDY TO HONOUR THEIR MEMOIERS.   Why do we need to shun these activities?
