Popularly known as Osho Rajneesh - he had written many books and commentaries on many books

 

if one delves deep into his works, you can notice the similarities with our saints and rishis

 

I am posting the excerpts from one of his books - 7 steps to samathi

 

 

 

7 Steps to Samadhi - Osho's commentary

  * God remains the very subjectivity

  * Sit on bed, exhale deeply, with mouth - OOO, when you have exhaled completely,stop for a single moment. Don't inhale nor exhale. Just stop. In that moment - you are the divine. In that stop, you are not doing anything , even breathing.

  Inhalation - life 

Exhalation - death

** religion is not for weak people - it is only for strong who can make leaps and jumps 

Weak can do step by step travel - strong will jump

* Vapour is invisible - can move only upwards

* A master is needed only till Sahasrar bud opens , after it opens, he is not needed, now you have gone beyond all possibilities of falling. You can rise and rise now - no fall - this is point of no return

 In tamil - Meendum Vaara vazhi 

  ** Only God can himself - " I " - no body else

  ** When you are totally silent, mind dissolved, no thoughts and ego ceased , then you hear the sound AUM. It is uncreated, the sound of existence, humming sound of existence.This is One hand clapping - Zen meditation technic

  ** Real eyes - those which can penetrate the illusory and can encounter the real

   ** Satchumathi Vidhya - wisdom thru which eyes are attained

  * Looking at as it is - no judgements , no projections ( mind ) this is enlightenment 

** If you judge , divide , you will be in darkness - you will be blind

** To existence, nothing is good or bad - takes everything as it is

  ** A sage is choiceless, is a person who doesn't judge , is undivided

  ** Supreme knowledge can't be taught - Guru can teach that can't be taught

 

** Sutra 

The most rare knowledge - upon the attainment of which, you will become free. Yet, dwelling in this body, see in all beings , the Brahman. Who is ONE , unborn, imperishable, still ,  infinite , immutable and conscious.

So seeing,  live in peace  and  bliss.  Don't see anything except Self and Supreme

 

** Shiva linga - not just phallic symbol - just zero, has no boundaries , it begins nowhere and ends nowhere

   

* All distractions only on surface - many belongs to suface 

At the centre - only ONE

  ** Inner talk must cease inorder to be attentive'

  ** If you are capable of forgetting non senses, then you can remember right things

  ** The world is not illusory - the world you have created around you is illusory

  ** Non wavering mind remains non attached

  ** Non attachment , I am not Doer, My past deeds karma are doers, God is the doer - thinking  this way , state of silence, equilibrium and peace can be attained. This is sublime non attachment
