We successfully rescued the same while on transit (1000 more) to slaghter house & also (30 each) from the slaghter house in Vellur/ chennai etc... in the past 4 months. We have to acheive the same with other district in TN in another 4 months.  Hope increase of the volunteer's in all over the TN and involvement of other NGO's would be helpful to achieve our Target.

Tirpur Illegal Slaughter House Rescue by People for Cattle in India(PFCI):

25 Calves,Cows rescued from Illegal Slaughterhouse in Tirpur by PFCI today,29th May.

Major crack down by PFCI,team raided a Illegal Slaughter House this afternoon by 1 PM nearby Royapuram,Tirpur. The Rescued Animals include Calves less than a year old. The breeds include Gir,Ongole,Kangayam,HS,Jersey etc...

FIR filed under IPC 429 & PCA ACT 1960.

There were at least 2 carcass by the time we went. Various media witnessed n shot live footage of Illegal slaughter of Cows,Calfs n Bulls. The entire locality is Stinking,found lotta Bones and Horns.Blood and Drainage was flowing all over,the internal organs were thrown on the main road...

Various violations include,

1 Cow n Calf killing

2 Polluting Environment,

3 Spoiling Health and Hygiene,

4 Selling Calf meat as Mutton,

5 Slaughter without License,

6 No bills or voucher for Cattle,

Carcass was taken for postmortem. she was hammered by sledge hammer. That's another huge slaughter offence.

This is the 4th Illegal Slaughter House raid by PFCI. Previously at Vellore,saved 10 Cattle, At Chrompet saved 9 Cattle, At Melmaruvathur saved 7 Cattle.

The police were very supportive. The Corporation has issued a notice & the place is shut now. Both the owners Chinnasamy & his wife Thangammal are arrested.
