I feel this type of National/State level political oriented issues need not be circulated in this Vallalar forum.
This is the forum to share and take away Vallalar's concepts and preachings and tune our way of life.
Today media has a major role and everyone of us are informed about what's happening in the world and the political issues are handled by diff section of people.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Dear Maheshkannan,
Two days ago I sent you a mail seeking your support in asking the Indian Government to demand an independent international investigation. The UN Human Rights Council is set to vote on the resolution against Sri Lanka in Geneva today. We should not let the pressure die down. Forward this mail to your friends asking them sign and share my petition.
Thanks for taking action,
Lalitha Natarajan
We only have until March 22nd to push the Indian Government to demand an independent international investigation for the war crimes in SriLanka. Sign My PetitionDear Maheshkannan -
For years we have witnessed the brutal treatment towards Tamil people by the Sri Lankan Government. As a Tamilian and a human rights defender, I have been pained by the crimes against Tamil people that occurred in Sri Lanka.
That's why I started a petition asking the Indian Government to demand an independent international investigation of war crimes during the recent Civil War in Sri Lanka.
We don't have much time - on 22nd March 2013, the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) will be voting on a resolution urging Sri Lanka to carry out an internal investigation. However, an independent international investigation against these human rights violations is the need of the hour.
As a neighbouring country, India has a responsibility towards the ethnic Tamil people in Sri Lanka who faced human rights violations during the civil war.
That's why I am urging the Prime Minister and the External Affairs Minister of India to take a strong stand for this enthnic minority at the UNHRC.
An independent and fair probe into the human rights violations, and fixing accountability are crucial steps towards the rehabilitation of the affected people in war-ravaged Sri Lanka.
Political leaders in Tamilnadu have called on the Indian Government to take a "historic, strong, and courageous stand on the issue".
Sign my petition and join me in urging Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to demand a fair international investigation into the human rights violations committed during the civil war.
Thank you for supporting the cause of the Tamil people in Sri Lanka,
Yours sincerely,
Lalitha Natarajan
PS: Please forward this mail to all your contacts to ensure justice for the Tamil people in Sri Lanka.
