there are persons who attained this deathless body, recently one person in gujarat in 1996 as newspapers quoted and my guru thirukandeeswaram ayya is nearing to attain it and there are other contemporary spiritual masters for eg., puttaparthi sai baba as quoted in wikipedia encountered with bright white light nothing but arutperumjyothi andavar in him and we can infer that it is also possible for any human being who tries irrespective of any caste creed religion state language country you can notice in (raghavendra)mantralayam one photo is still there which swami's photo is made along with bright white light, i think in chennai nanganallur raghavendra mutt the same picture is there.

Dear Sir,
            Vallarar's preachings regarding Deathlessbody is very
clear.All Sanmargis try to attain the deathlessbody.  But so far no
one attained this stage Are we going to the right path in achieving
this glorious goal .Is ther any defect noticed in the way of our
practice. If so let me know acorrect  procedures to be followed
atleast in future to this goal early in our lives.
             Is ther anybody who can offer the right path to be
followed in future to attain the goal early
             I request to kindly intimate through email.
