[vallalargroups:2659] Disappointment!

Dear all
On friday  Feb 12, Shiva raathri, I had been to Annamalaiyar temple - Thirvannamalai.  The temple was crowded with all shiva devotees. But there was a notice board stating that shiva raathri will be celebrated only on Mar,13. To all devotees disappointment, the temple was closed in the mid night itself. What a stupid decision is this? as the entire India is celebrating shiva raathri on Feb.12. Inspite of the requests from all news papers, which states that, let all the temples celebrate on both Feb.12 and mar.13 if the temples have doubts on the date issues. What is the harm in celebrating or praising lord shiva one more day . There was a clear request from all news paper which advice temple authority to open on both the days?  How the temples can takes their political decision ignoring public devotees, which leaves plenty of devotees in disappointment. Many devotees from northern india also would have been visited to  the temple on Feb.12 thinking that the temple would be opened through out night. Let us not encourage politics entering into the devotion.
