yes its open on non pusam days. once at 12pm and again at 8pm. the main doors to the jothi is however closed. if u ask me, this is good time to do your prayers in the gyana sabai as the crowd is minimal. its a good opportunity to do some meditation.   on monthly pusam days. there is recital of agaval in the morning. at night the jothi will be shown but only partly.   regards dpvm
