Saint Vallalar in one of his reveries reflected as follows:
"Dance of Peacock, I saw, above the sky
Peacock has become Cuckoo; Oh Lord
Peacock has become Cuckoo"
Whether the following could be the real meaning of these lines?
Peacock is a male bird with the beautiful tresses and when it dances it is very colourful and charming to the eyes of the beholder. But the peahen which is a female could not because it does not have the tresses as that of its male counterpart. Whenever, one talks about the dance of peacock, it is always about the dance of the male only. It is evident from here that the sense of sight grapples with the sex of the beings as that of male and female. But in the case of cuckoo, we hear only the sound and one who hears the song cannot distinguish the sound of cuckoo as belonging to a male or a female. That means in the case of cuckoo both the male and the female are in a position to sing the song. There is no hen or cock in the cuckoo with regard to its song. Therefore, in the sound of cuckoo there is no sex. There is no discrimination as the soul is without sex. Dance of peacock is the physical state and the song of the cuckoo is the spiritual state. Vallalar sings about his experience of transition from the physical symbolized in the peacock to the spiritual symbolized in the cuckoo. The soul in physical manifestation blooms into male and male and female. But its original state is sexless. Only when a person transcends the sensation of sex, the bliss of soul belongs to him or her.
Let us find out the true meaning of the above lines.
I am just seeking truth which is devoid of falsity and exaggeration.

I read our Vallalar's statement on sleep. He had advised to minimize sleep and spend more time in thavam and other sanmarga activities.
Most importantly, Vallalar had said, "If one sleeps for just two-and-half naaligai everyday he/she will live for thousand years." This comes in his Saahakkalvi.
Very inspiring!! Can you please help with my following doubts?
1) How many hours is two-and-half naaligai? Is one naaligai equal to two-and-half hours?
2) When we minimize sleep we feel tired (perhaps in the beginning this is so) and energy level is not that high. How to overcome this?
I understand that if one is really committed and passionate in sanmargam, all obstacles can be overcome. But in the initial stages the enthusiasm is inconsistent and tiredness creeps in stealthily.
Kindly enlighten with practical tips.

I drink rather warm drinks when I eat, when I drink some, I have already this habit a long time. When I drink something cold I do it just without eating something together. I was inspired from the chinese when I've been in China some years ago. Warm drink is a good and healthy habit not only in Winter, but all year long, mainly herbal teas.

Thiru Chaithanya Abisekh seems to be expanding his imagination and coceptualization on a phylosophical plane. Every one has the liberty to give interpretations.
In the context of VaLLaar's text, for the ordinary human being ; Jeeva KaaruNiyam' has aequate meaning as 'Compassion and love of all living (jeeva) beings, which includes humans, animals, plants and the earth and uivese which consist of matter of atoms that are in perpectual motion, and hence alive.
The concept of soul is not accepted by all religions like Budhism, by Ajeevakars and Aghnosts.
GOD IS GREAT SOUL. JEEVAN IS A GREAT SOUL SEEMS TO BE SMALLER THAN GOD BCOZ OF ITS DEPENDENCE ON VERY TINY NATURE.
ALL SOULS ARE NET CONNECTED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GREAT UNIVERSAL SOUL . Thiru Chaithanya Abisekh seems to be expanding his imagination and coceptualization on a phylosophical plane. Every one has the liberty to give interpretations.
In the context of VaLLaar's text, for the ordinary human being ; Jeeva KaaruNiyam' has aequate meaning as 'Compassion and love of all living (jeeva) beings, which includes humans, animals, plants and the earth and uivese which consist of matter of atoms that are in perpectual motion, and hence alive.
The concept of soul is not accepted by all religions like Budhism, by Ajeevakars and Aghnosts.
