I rescued 3 cows recently by 3pm on 28/3/13 at Kilpauk, when they transisted thro 3 wheeler to slughter house at Pulianthope, Chennai. Mr.Chinni, also directed me to shift it to Blue Cross.
Because of late night, and FIR ( no.255/2013) was issued by 9.15 pm, Mr.Don, instructed G3, Kilpauk Police Stn., to send these cattles to SPCA, Vepery. After a week, on verificatin by self at SPCA, Mr.Srinivasulu, Insptr said, it was already sent back to the slughter house with approval of Magistrate of Egmore. Also, he argued with me, where was the rules that young one should not be sent to the slughter house. All SPCA in Tamil Nadu never prevent cruelty to animals.
One of the SPCA at vellure don't have any operation related to prevention of cruelty to animals. Instead they are doing different activities. i can not mention here thro' mail. Mr.Jeyakumar, is one of the member of SPCA-Vellure, had several attempt to dissolve the committee with collector. Also, there are video proof avl for all the corruption/ misuse of building for some illegal purpose etc.......... with Mr.Jeyakumar, vellure.(09443447370)
In this regard, I also discussed with collector of vellur(09444135000), several time over phone. Still he has not taken any action against the SPCA. Collector has enough power to dissolve the committee, as a president of SPCA.
Kindly take immt action with Mr.Harish Mehta, chairman of SPCA(09444440428), to shift all the 22 cattles to Thiruvellur, shelter as suggested by PFCI. After FIR, We are only answerable to the court where the cattles was safely kept, while arguement at court. Police will not have involvement on this issue.
Pls save them at the earliest.
regards,
SOMANATHAN

Dear Somnath,
The Cattle have been handed over to SPCA on protest by the Butchers that it should not go to
Blue Cross or Any other Goshala.
These cattle now have to be moved out of SPCA for treatment. This can help us 1) to treat injured
animals. 2) Give us time to file an appeal at the High Court later on..................
With our earlier experience the cattle goes back to the butcher from SPCA. Hope with the New head
at SPCA things have changed.
FYI; we cannot go back to the Police or Court to get an order to handover the Cattle to another
Goshala for interim custody. Hence SPCA should give the cattle back to us and defend us till
the time we go for appeal and save the cattle for good.
All the risk taken/energy spent should not go wasted and more importantly the life of the cattle &
calf should be saved.
Thanks and Regards/Muralidhran.S

We lost hope halfway through but all the prayers from well-wishers saved the day.The Butchers Abused, Accused, Harassed, Threatened & Provoked us. But somehow we put up a face & fought till the end.All Cattle are now at SPCA. We will have to hire Lawyers to file intervenor at the Court during the trail.Regards,Arun G,PFCI.76670666669884071136
