Pls. find the Circular issued by the DGP/AIG-L&O – For taking action and Punishment on Cruelty / attacking/ killing /buried of Dogs.  Accordingly the police Dept had also taken action against  A S Murugan, president & 4 others who were involved on killing  of 60 stray dogs (includes 7 puppies & Pet dogs) & buried at Koothanoor village of Mannarkudi,  during the last week of Feb.13.  They also arrested by the police & remanded at court last week.

 

As you have already informed by the undersigned, in most of the villages, Dogs are killed and buried  through order of the president by knowingly and unknowingly of the Rules & Regulation of the Animals.

 

KINDLY ISSUE CIRCULAR IMMTLY. AND INFORM ALL THE OFFICIALS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE RIGHT TO KILL / CRUELLY TREAT/ BRUTALLY ATTACK…..DOGS OR ANY OF THE ANIMALS IN THEIR VILLAGES AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

 

HOPE THAT YOU WOULD TAKE IMMT. ACTION TO STOP KILLING OF DOGS BY SENDING THE CIRCULAR TO ALL Panchayat President (All the villages) of Tamilnadu thro Commsnr. of RDPRàCollectoràADPàBDP respectively.
