[vallalargroups:970] Re: Answer from Raja,Infosys,Chennai: Diff Between soul and atma...

Blessed Immortal Soul,

Philosophy of Budha and Ribhu are diagonally opposite.

Budha doesnot believe in the existence of God or Soul.

Ribhu philosophy strongly a adwaitha one.Even most of the times Ramana Maharshi quotes Ribu geetha.
English version is available in Ramanashramam.

But Vallalar strongly advocates shaivasidhantha Philosophy.According shaiva sidhantha once the soul gets refined devoid of Anava, maya and Karma malam it becomes in conjunction with Supreme soul or Truth or Reality or Wisdom or God.

There are different ways to reach liberation.Ribhu advocates Gnana maga which can be followed only when the state of mind reaches Sudha state.

Shaiva sidhantha prepares one for liberation through Sariyai, Kiriyai, Yogam and Gnanam.

End is Gnana margam. Vallalars method of saivasidhantha is called Shivaadvaitha.

All r same but budha philosophy is different.

Hi karthick anna,

I am regularly going through all the mails from Vallalar group.

Recently, I came across the question. 'What is the difference between soul and anma?'

Let me put a small view on this question.

When I saw the answers for that question, one quote came in to my mind.

"We are not seeing the existence, but we are seeing the names and forms of the existence."

Similarly, the answer for this question. Somebody say soul, somebody say it atma or whatever we name it we refer to the ever existence truth.

There is one statement 'Kandavar vindilar, vindavar kandilar..'

Buddha Said,  'Those who know they don't speak, those who speak they don't know…'

If we ask this question to a mahatma, He or She will definitely laugh or will keep silent. Because it can be experienced but not by words…

So, It our small mind which names it as soul, atma, god or whatever it is… When the mind don't know something it will name it something and put a seal. The same case here….

So what we need is the awareness and the faith to guru and love to the universe and serve it.

Recently I read 'Ribhu gita' one such excellent book. Which will tell us who we are. If you get a chance, kindly search from net and do read it…

The questions are good and keep sending….

Please forward this mail to our group.. thanks….

Regards,

Raja.B
