[vallalargroups:753] Re: my next question : What is the primary purpose of doing all these sadhana (spiritual practice) ?

Why we should do these type of spiritual practice (like praying, reading thiruvasagam, meditating, eating veg food and so on..)? What is the thing that we are going to attain?

I am presenting my openion here below with reference to my experience......................

The whole creation is started from a single origin, which we can call as Adi Brahman.
The state of origin is Awyaktha  or Non-expressive.
From that state the whole of creation is done.
That clearly indicates that the creation as different , Galaxies , stars , planets, elements and life can be defined as siblings.
Mind is developed in human beings through which we started thinking about our origin.
First of all we noticed that we are different from the creator, even though there is no difference between these.
With that thought several methods were tried to find the origin both spiritually and scientifically.
For scientific search certain technical back ground is necessary to identify and prove the truth.
Where as spiritual growth does not need any of such back grounds.
A simple belief is enough to lead one to move forward.
In this Bhakthi yoga, prayers, Gnana yoga, Dhyan yoga are different methods to achieve the goal, in which people started feeling peace.
When started doing meditation, realized that one can travel in ( Antar mukh ) so that many embedded truths are revealed to human conscious and realized that even outter travel or Bhaya mukh is also possible with meditation.
With these two methods one realized that The whole physical body is a representative of the whole creation and every thing is with in this body it self.
Then the practicner realized that we are energy bodies enclosed in physical bodies.
Many energy centres are invloved in proper functioning of all the bodies and some external source is flowing into our bodies and it is controlling every thing.
Further realized that one can do astral travel, or visualize many past, present and future incidents, while pracicing meditation.
So by this method one can realize the origin or the prime crator.
All animals are also like human beings which have conscious , mind  and every hing and they were also created from the same source.
Hence eating and killing animals , disturb their natural progress process which make us to carry bad karma.
Bad karma cause some pain and unhappy ness.
If being an vegetarian one can avoid such negative energies into our bodies sothat can lead peaceful life before achiveing the final goal.
Thank you all,
Ganesh B V

Hi karthik anna,

Thanks for the answers to my questions. It was really happy to see answers from our group members. Thanks to everyone.

            Here is my another question.

What is the primary purpose of doing all these sadhana (spiritual practice) ?

            In other words

Why we should do these type of spiritual practice (like praying, reading thiruvasagam, meditating, eating veg food and so on..)? What is the thing that we are going to attain?

If there is any wrong in my question, please apologize.. I am a spiritual illiterate who is seeking for true knowledge.

Thanks & Regards,

Raja.B
